朱自清的散文以艺术构思严谨,抒情写景委婉细腻,语言格调清新秀丽而享誉文坛。尤其是他的抒情散文隐含着一种独特的的美:朦胧飘逸的景致,暗伤暗喜的情绪,如烟似梦的意境,可以说每一篇都充盈着诗情画意。正如郁达夫在《<中国新文学大全>散文二集·导言》中说的:“朱自清虽则是一个诗人,可是他的散文仍能够贮满着那一种诗意:文学研究会的散文作者中,除冰心女士外,文章之美要算他了。”那么这种独特的美从何而来,或言之朱自清在抒情散文的创作中是什么驱动着他产生如此独特的审美意向?深入地探讨它无疑能使我们更清楚地了解朱自清抒情散文创作的深层心理,以提高对其散文的欣赏水平。
