瞬间1:2007年12月26日,北京人民大会堂,上汽董事长胡茂元和南汽董事长王耀平在荧光闪烁中欢颜握手,酝酿已久的上(汽)南(汽)合并事宜终于以签署《合作框架协议》的方式落定。一周前,南汽工作组赶赴上海,与上汽集团高层最终落实了双方合并的具体细节。在合并南汽后,上汽集团将变成年销量超过200万辆的国内第一大汽车集团。上汽集团和南汽集团这两个在2005年对MG罗孚资产的竞购中同时跃入全球业者视线的中国汽车公司在2007年终于合二为一,继承了英国罗孚汽车血统的南汽MG名爵和上汽荣威这两个品牌最终都归属上汽,上汽这一手笔成了2007年车市的压轴好戏。
