Objective: To explore the effect of different exercises on children’s static balance ability. Methods: A total of 68 people from two classes in the middle class of public kindergartens in Nanjing were randomly selected, and the experiment of rollover and ball-making exercise was conducted 9 weeks before. Before and after the intervention, the Footscan balancer test system was used to test the eyes of the subjects with their eyes open and their eyes closed. The test index was the trajectory of the center of gravity of the unit time, the envelope area and the maximum displacement difference. Results: The children with non-visual participation increased significantly (P <0.01) and significantly (P <0.05), respectively, after rolling and patting. CONCLUSION: Both forward tumbling and ball-making exercises can effectively improve the children’s static balance ability. Compared with the former, tumbling over the ball can improve the static balance ability of preschool children better.
