Introduction : Primary assessment of pediatric congenital heart disease (CHD) traditionally relied on Echocardiography (ECHO) and catheter angiography. However, both have limitations.ECHO is operator-dependent and has insufficient information for the evaluation of certain vascular structures.Catheter angiography is an invasive procedure with an inherent risk of procedure-related complications (vessel dissection, stroke, etc).In addition, catheter angiography is limited by its 2D nature and there are difficulties in simultaneous evaluation of the systemic and pulmonary vascular systems.
