The service temperature of reduced activation ferrite/martensite steels(RAFM)in fusion reactors is expected to be around 550 ℃,and higher service temperature heat-resistant alloys such as ODS steels is desired and some promising results have been achieved. The superior properties including high hardness, excellent high-temperature strength and good microstructure stability of high entropy alloys with multi-principal elements make it suitable for fusion reactors applications. In this work,high-entropy alloys with BCC structure containing low activation elements Fe,Cr,V,Ti,Mo or W have been fabricated by arc-melting.The evaluation on the microstructure of these alloys showed that alloys have very good microstructural stability at 700 ℃ up to 3000 h.Compressive strength of developed alloys could reach 1300 Mpa at room temperature, and the ductility and strength increased with increasing the temperature up to 800 ℃.The preliminary results indicated that high-entropy alloys could be the promising candidate materials for nuclear applications.
