Alzheimer's disease (AD), a neurodegenerative disease,is seriously threatening the health of the elderly. In recent years, exercise is accepted as a kind of physical fitness. It is reported that moderate exercise can improve short-term memory by enhancing neurogenesis in amyloid β (Aβ)-induced AD rats. The purpose of this study is to make a model of learning and memory impairment in rats induced by Aβ25-35 combined with excessive exercise, and to analyze the effects of silibinin (50 mg/kg, p.o.) on the model.Aβ25-35 was bilateral injected into hippocampal CA1 region, while rats were subjective to excessive exercise on treadmill.
