Two novel low-molecular-weight glutenin subunit (LMW-GS) genes, designated TatLMW-i1, TatLMW-ic1and TatLMW-ic2, were cloned and characterized from the Triticum tibetanum. The coding regions of TatLMW-i1, TatLMW-ic1 and TatLMW-ic2 were 771 bp, 774 bp and 774 bp in length, encoding peptides with 357, 358, and 358amino acid residues, respectively.
