Cellulases are widespread group of enzymes hydrolyzing the glycosidic bonds and have wide applications in industries like textile,soap,laundry detergent,food,paper & pulp,alcohol,pharmaceuticals etc.The F1-carboxymethylcellulase (cmcl) gene of A.aculeatus has been expressed in A.oryzae niaD300 (niaD) with a hyper expression system using an improved fungal promoter through the plasmid harbouring cmc1 gene (pNAN-cmcl).Extra-cellular CMCases (endoglucanases) of transgenic Aspergillus oryzae,produced under submerged growth conditions on wheat bran (7.5 U mg-1 protein) was purified to homogeneity level by ammonium sulphate precipitation and different column chromatography on FPLC system.
