  The rapid development of urbanization in contemporary Chinese urban leading to social problem increasingly complicated and diversified.On the expanding edge of the urban and setting up "humanist" social background,we carried out research towards women living in the urban fringe area.In this study an attempt was made to know the rope of women shopping behavior by using a sample of 195 households from 5 urban fringe communities in the Dalian Quanshui residential area.In particular,the travel behavior of women as affected by public facilities accessibility was assessed.We are getting down to the research through activity log survey map of the area women residents,and by the way of behavioral and cognitive evaluation methods,analyzed the urban fringe women residents shopping characteristics and cognitive preference for commercial facilities,combined with space environment characteristics of surrounded land use characteristics and commercial facility layout.We focus on the influence of space environment characteristics on womans residentschoice of different commercial grade—food,daily supply,large household appliances and costume jewelry on the background of residentssocioeconomic factors—age,income,occupation and household structure.Models estimated to determine the influence of public facility accessibility characteristics of women travel behavior indicate that the availability of public facility choices did affect the daily travel behavior of women even after differences in their life-cycle stage are accounted for.And the improvement of public facilities accessibility in urban fringe area can help encourage women travel by sustainable transport approach.Through the analysis of the female residents demand for commercial facilities around the edge of the city residents,commercial facilities for the construction of the type should be considered,and according to the female residents shopping behavior preference humanized facilities layout form is put forward.
