Tonglv copper mine which was first explored at Yingshang dynasty and was utilized during Zhou and West Han dynasty,is the oldest and largest ancient site sustaining the longest time so far as discovered.From 1970s till now,several sites and tolls of production dating from West Zhou dynasty to West Han dynasty have been found.The metal tools were efficient and direct to explore mineral.It is proved from those material relics that using iron tools after Warring States period promotes the development of production forces and enlarges the exploration scale in Tonglv copper mine.
