To study the chemical compositions of atmospheric precipitation and the potential sources at a high-altitude site in east China, samples of rainwater were collected for chemical analysis at the summit of Mt.Huang from July of 2010 to June of 2011.The volume-weighted-mean (VWM) pH for the whole sampling period was 5.03.SO42-and Ca2+ were the most abundant anion and cation, respectively.Concentrations of ions were found to be elevated in winter/spring and low in summer.
