Polyacrylic acid (PAA) (or multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT)) and ferromagnetic magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs) were covalent bonding using a one-pot chemical coprecipitation method to produce magnetic nano-adsorbents of MNPs-PAA (or MWNTs-MNP).The common features of remarkable adsorption behaviors due to their unique chemistry, enhanced surface area, and large interface as well as the ease of appropriate packing and manipulating via an external magnetic field (3000 G) make magnetic nano-adsorbents excellent adsorbing reagents in chromatographic applications.
