The problem of the cooling wall in compressible nozzle flow has many engineering applications, such as in aerospace, gas turbines, combustion chambers, industrial furnaces and solid fuel ramjet engine.Compressible gas flows at moderate Reynolds number in channels of constant or variable cross section are also frequently met in several branches of contemporary technicals as for examples: micro-channels, chemical and gasodynamic lasers.
