  The origin of surface engineering of solids is to properly control the crystal growth process during carious chemical reaction systems,which strictly follows both thermodynamic and kinetic limitations.Microscopically,the crystal growth and its morphology result from an interplay of crystallographic anisotropy and growth kinetics by means of interfacial processes [1-6].On the basis of crystallographic characteristics of various functional materials such as ZnO,Cu2O,ZnS,BaCO3,magnesium salts,copper salts,and lithium niobate,a fine chemicalroute strategy is employed to fabricate solid surface at the microscale.
