Aiming at that there is serious electromagnetic radiation around the lightning protection device when it is stroked by lightning,which can generate strong electromagnetic interference on sensitive electronic equipments,a new active protection method against direct lightning stroke based on the principle of electrostatic field counteraction and electrostatic shielding is proposed.The feasibility of this lightning protection method is verified both in theory and in experiments.
