  Establishing catastrophe risk data collection standard is of great importance to Chinese insurance industry.Collection of catastrophe insurance data is the key to catastrophe risk management and will play an important role in the national catastrophe risk protection system.Standardized catastrophe risk database is the basis to the establishment of catastrophe insurance scheme,development of catastrophe insurance products and solvency regulation.Establishment of CCRDCS and its integration with the Hazard Relief Standards from Civil Affairs Department can provide the insurance industry with more data support from different hazard management departments and form the foundation for China catastrophe insurance system.
